I am thinking of reviewing this game, and I need to know if the other teams in a given city are playing by the same rules I am. For example, I see AI drivers whipping their horses a lot, so much so that their performance is severely degraded. Is that AI team going to be paying a price for that in later races, or do they just get fresh stuff every race because they are AI? Thanks.

Yes, the AI team decide their next turn order the same way as the player do, using an expert system ruleset (sort of). When all orders are decided (included the player order), the new turn starts and calculations are made treating all teams equally

From one race to the next, only leaders wounds are preserved. About too much whipping, some people think they should do more whipping! see that thread:

Yes, I'm sorry, my question was about long term effects, race by race, over time. So the other AI teams don't have to worry about managing, doctors, new chariots, money? They are assigned new equipment each race? Only leaders wounds carry over? Thanks.
