Small report while playing the game on Steam:

Playing a game on the Steam platform was not a stranger to me. For a long time, i am playing Civ 5 that way. Steam has grown into a dedicated place to buy and play games and to interact with other players.

Panzer Corps on the Steam platform is definitely a winner. The list of achievements introduce new ways of playing the game, beside the different game rules, and plenty achievements offer quite a challenge. How to imagine winning a campaign without buying artillery for example? Simply stated, the achievements take your cunning to a new level and offers the opportunity to discover new aspects (and the add-ons) of the base game.

I played Panzer Corps on Steam for approximately 14 hours, played several scenarios from Allied Corps and Africa Korps and i amassed 12/84 achievements. I also played a few scenarios of a custom mod of mine (with vanilla e-file) and everything was running smooth and easy. While playing, I went back to the steam window from time to time, to find out if i made another achievement

To be recommended!

Will these achievements be available for Windows? In a future patch, I presume?

Steam Achievements are - almost naturally - a Steam only thing.
I hope the Steam achievements for Panzer Corps are more on the "natural" side of gameplay. Too often they involve doing strange things for my taste.


Suggestions: Add the Magrider from Planetside 2 to Panzer Corps and add the Tiger II to Planeside 2. Because the Vanu Sovereignty needs a tank with a proper gun! No kidding, in the future they also have worse targeting systems than in WW2.

On the achievements its a bit tricky as a lot of the work is related to reporting the achievements via the web and we simply don't have the resources to do this right now. If we can find some way to do it all locally we'll add it but I don't know if we have the time with so much going on right now. So we'll see what we can do but no promises!

What you could do in the meantime is write all the achievements down and track your progress.

No no that is not satisfying at all. I need public recognition for my work. What needs to be done is that whenever i get an achievement, a message pops in each online player stating "antoniocapo just got an achievement, eat that!"
