Qvadriga Final Release Questions

I was just in a race where I and the faction leader just below me in the standings had no chance of finishing our race even in 6th place, so I went after him to put him out of action...permanently.

With a full lap to go and crawling along beside each other we lashed at one other, crashed into each other, dropped opposing horses, it was a brutal affair. But finally lashing him within an inch of his life, I took out one of his wheels and he immediately splattered on the track. Satisfied that I had eliminated my closest rival, the end race results screen came up. But no mention of my opponents demise.....uh oh! I return to my stables to get ready for the next race and who shows up on the starting line? The same dead rival I had sent to Mount Olympus in the last race! He was even still listed, with all his first place victories, just under me in the standings after the race in which he died.
I paid special attention to this because in several earlier races I thought I had seen injured drivers who shouldn't have been able to be in the next race, actually participating in the very next race after being sometimes very wounded. Something doesn't seem quite right with all that, but it could be something I'm missing out on or overlooking too. I saved and left the game there, would it help to send a file to someone for inspection maybe?

What's it take to race in the Circus Maximus? I'm currently racing at the next lowest Category V Italia track , the Rome Maxentius track. I have 51 races completed with 10 first place finishes, 3 ahead of the closest faction leader. I'm first in local and global standings with Worshipped\City and Legendary\Global status and I have 142,000 denarius. I don't mind all the races, just not sure what is expected of me to be able to race in the Maximus.

Just played the demo and immediately picked up the full version; it's a great little game.
Here is my question:
Is there an Android/Ipad version in the works? I think this would be a great title for my Nexus tablet.

Yes this is being considered right now, but it's too early for any public announcements

It is strange, I will have a look at this but...does he appeared listed as dead leader at the race results? are you sure you eliminated this leader and not a normal auriga of the same faction?

You are very close...need to reach the "mythical" global status. The global fame levels is calculated having into account the four more famed regions, it is possible to reach it by competing in less than four regions, but it will rise slower then.

I'm 99% sure I killed the driver I was talking about. But at any rate, I definitely killed a driver, and no driver's names showed up in the final results as being killed, in fact no results at all were given in the final results, not even who won, it was just a blank black screen with no results at all for that race. That I know for 100% sure. But I'll pay very close attention to this in future games and will report here again on this.

The final result screen only collects data from leaders, if this appears black is because no leader was harmed...I think you killed a normal auriga of the same faction than your enemy leader. Look at the crested helmet/headband!
On the other side, I have effectively see a injured leader taking part in a race. It is working fine most of the time, it happens in some weird situation, will keep investigating...

OK, injured leaders mistery solved. Injuded leaders are not participating at races while being injured. Just their names do :p
Unfortunately when the injured leaders are discarded for the next race, their names are not reseted so they are used by the aurigas substitute
thank you one more time!

Thanks for the explanation. If possible, it would be great to increase the number of auriga names in the game, because currently there are a lot of duplicate names. Several times I've had two aurigas with the same name in one race.

Any chance Qvadriga will be available through Steam in the future?

Perhaps emply a similar mechanism as is found in Crusader Kings?
Have a first name and a separate family, clan, patronymic or origin slot. This might be different for each culture.
So for example Germanic names could be in a form like: {XYZ] son of [YZX] (Example: Sigmer son of Thorval)
Greek names could be [XXX] of [YYY] (Example: Patroklos of Cardia) etc.
