40mm square bases

Hi All,
I've been trying to 'diorama' my mounted Samurai, and I've come to the conclusion that really, I want to base my guys on 40mm square bases. The appearance will be so much better.
I can't think of any reason why it would be an issue in FoG:R. I've done it in FoG:AM and it seems fine, and I don't think there would be any real further issues in "R".
Any thoughts?
