I know there is an issue with reinforcements but not sure this is the same. In two skirmish games vs the AI, Russia first player, I've gotten the reinforcements have arrived message only none did. Based on the number of German units I saw during the course of the battle, I wonder if they didn't get the reinforcements I should have as the Russian player. In any case, the Russia player did not.

Do you recall what the force size, force selection, and scenario type settings were in those games?

Map was a 59x64 wilderness. Very large force size and split selection. Skirmish mode was symmetric.
