Will we get a private beta forum?

Yes, and also MP will be on Beta MP servers.

It is a first Beta build, so there will be some stuff missing and not optimized in this first iPad Beta build, we also just add a small group of first testers because of this, some testers we hope can see the light at the end of the tunnel together with us.

The AI is not completely replaced and rewritten yet, so turns are still pretty slow (the AI will be completely replaced and rewritten upon release), some PC features are not completely replaced yet, some UI is still from the PC (new updated iPad UI is in the making, but still a bit unstable, so we left it out from this first Beta build), intro movies are disabled, etc... but outside these known issues, we are ready for some testing.

We will add more and more Beta testers gradually once we get closer to Gold. So we hope the first chosen Beta testers are capable of investing some time into the game even with the issues that are known and will be sorted during the next weeks/months of beta-testing.

When will the private forum be ready for iPad testing? I've been granted access to the iPad beta and don't know where to post issues.

Hi guys,

Some of you who Beta tested before and have a Testflight account, will already be able to see, download and play the game, as we integrated your UDID certificates into the last build.

I hope we open up the Beta forum and start testing this week, maybe today, depending on how busy Slitherine management is. I will put up notifications as the Beta testings starts officially.

I'd like to start an AAR as soon as I've been authorized! So far in my first LP as the Allies, I've done incredibly well! I'm closing in on Brussles and the Germans still haven't taken Warsaw from the Russains! Serbia is standing strong, and in Eygpt, the ottomans haven't made any notable progress. I've landed a massive Expeditionary force in southern Turkey, and I'm laying siege to Iziym. All of this done in September of 1915!

Commander The Great War Beta testing started, we just added a small first test group for this test round. There are plenty to come and we will add more and more testers the closer we get to Gold, so if you are not selected this round, don`t worry better luck next Beta build! Thank you all who volunteered.

Should we post in "Commander The Great War Beta" closed forum for non beta testers or wait for a new specific ipad beta forum?

I've been having a bit too much fun! It's April 1916 and the Allies or on the offensive! Trieste and Saravejo fall, Antwerp is cut off from the Germans and Russia is still in a bloody stale mate! In Eygpt, the ottomans are being pushed out of any remaining British land, and the Serbs are about to lay Split under siege! But the Austro-German alliance is going for an all or nothing attack of Russia! So far no territory has been lost, and for 2 days I bomb Koiengsburg! It will soon be mine

Of course good to see you have fun and the game runs smooth, but for one the Beta testing is closed and private.

My bad just wanted to show the world to be ready for the addicting amount of fun!

Any idea when this baby "hits the shelves?"

Since I'm bound by secrecy, all I can say is, it's getting better, In fact were close to breaking the trench lines of the Bug/Glitch Empire!

I guess it is probably too early in the beta process but, any estimation regarding going gold?
