In Africa Korps, the German Flak 8.8 has a range and line of sight of 3 hex's. When you change it to a Pak, it has 0 range, and a 1 hex line of sight. Sure would be nice to see the Pak version changed to represent it's ability to hit Allied Armor BEFORE they get into range with their own weapons, as it was! I suppose that the same could be said for some ALLIED unit's!
Thanks for your time,

The ability to hit the enemy before he hits you is called INITIATIVE.
All direct-fire units have zero range. This is not a coincidence. I am fully aware tanks could shoot at each other at distances larger than what one hex represents on some maps. It's not a question about lacking realism, it's simply because the game doesn't work well with ranged direct fire.
A tank or AT with Range 1 would be way too good, because not only would it fire before the enemy, the enemy (having range 0) wouldn't get to fire back at all! And if you start adding range to other units too, then somebody would inevitably want Pak 88s to have Range 2...
