Overblown UI elements (CURSOR!!!)

The game is looking good but my number one, big glaring issue is the

HUGE MOUSE CURSOR

followed by the equally

LARGE UI ELEMENTS.

Seriously, there is absolutely no reason why these have to take up so much space, especially the cursor. Please make it vastly smaller and make the UI elements scale with resolution, instead of being stretched out from their low-res assets.

I agree that the cursor is rather large and some of the UI elements quite large as well. It would be good to reduce the size a bit.

It's a balance of the usability of controls for the majority of people. I will look at the possibility of allowing for UI scaling, but it is a fairly large task to be honest. Generally scaling to rez is something we don't do, but it definitely has its fans.

I understand that UI scaling is nontrivial. However, at least consider making the UI elements (the cursor in particular) smaller if you cannot make them scale.

This was pretty jarring back in the days of BA1 and frequently broke the immersion for me - it's actually one of the few things I really prefer about the iPad version, despite the inferior tablet ergonomics. I simply don't have to deal with the huge cursor there.

Come on guys - you fixed the force selection screen, you can fix this too and make this the best tactical TBS game on the market!

For you - done :) (an at least somewhat smaller cursor)

Unhelpful as it is, the answer is unfortunately "when it's ready".
