Soviet Corps release date?

Just like the title suggests, is there any definative due date for Soviet Corps or is it still in development for quite some time?
Also, will there be a Cold Wars variant of Panzer Corps? I would totally throw all my cash at such a version!

I really hope this is next after soviet corps. My old peoples general doesn't run on windows 8.

That's unfortunate, really wish computers came with backwards compatibility...
Anyways, it seems that there aren't many Cold War turn based strategy games out there, Slitherine might be able to take advantage of that market certainly if they use the tested Panzer Corps gameplay, it would be a real money maker for them. So I believe they might work on some sort of Cold War game after Soviet Corps... here's hoping

Avalon Hill had a PanzerBlitz/Panzer General variant called Arab Israeli Wars. It could be the basis for a new Panzer Corp variant.

Not until they release a Pacific Corps first! The Pacific General was arguably the best system in the old panzer general series. Peoples general, based in the Cold War, started the downward spiral of the series that ended in the awful Panzer 3D.

22th of June 2014: a day when the world will hold its breath.

Would make sense seeing as both Barbarossa and later Bagration started on that date

Any educated person would know that there would be no celebration on the Soviet/Russian side on June 22. Very much like our "Day of Infamy" in the US on December 7. I'm sure our Russian tovarishi (comrades) would say the most appropriate date to release Soviet Corp is on May 9, Victory Day. Victory Day is a sight to see in Russia and a day of great patriotism. No coincidence that what we in the west call World War II is called the Great Patriotic War in Russia.

Bagration started on June 22-23, so the choice would be an interesting one: a bad day (Barbarossa), but also a "Russian D-Day" (Bagration)

In the USA the victory day is hardly known of and not a mass media celebration. But December 7th and June 6th are days that all you see on tv is war movies. If they are trying to sell the games to russians, and if thats the biggest market, a May 9 release makes sense. I dont think thats their demographic.
Having said that i hope its May 9, more than a month sooner release!

If they're aiming for historic release days, November 11th (or was it 8th) could be ideal (do Russians still celebrate this day?)

I don't really want to wait until the end of the year! May/June is better, as that will be soon after WWI and War of the World 1.1 are released

True on that, but I don't think it is finished - it still hasn't been officially announced (I don't think so, anyway)

Well whenever it will be released, I will definately throw all my money at this addon. Being a history buff who's analysed The Great Patriotic War so may times and is thoroughly interested in it, I'll be glad when it finally comes out.
I can already imagine my core comprised of ludicrous amounts of T-34s in all their variants, KV-2s and 203mm "Stalin's Sledgehammer" M1931s a devastating force to be reckoned with.
URAAAAA!
