We seem to have quite a significant number of players heading to Koblenz in August in both A&M and R.
Any thoughts on how best to get there?
Any chance of a BHGS coach party Tim?

When we played the German open last year just outside Koblenz we flew to Frankfurt ,then hired a car ,its pretty easy trip even if it was my first drive on the continent.
We could well take a train from the airport this time as it probably wouldn't be cost effective for a car considering we won't be using it for three days.
Of course if there are any coach drivers going I'm sure we could arrange something

I am flying to Frankfurt then taking the train as my wife does not fancy me hiring a car and driving.

You've also got Cologne / Dusseldorf very close by - they are all served by regular airlines and some of the Easyjets of this world so there are lots of options from whichever part of the UK you start from. German trains connect very well to their airports, so I'd not imagine it's worth hiring a car at the other end - just get the train
Driving-wise it looks to be about 5-6 hours from Calais so it is do-able for anyone car sharing, however extrapolate that to a minibus and you then have to find 10 or so people who all want to start from the same place in the UK and travel on the same dates out and back.....

I'm planning on a long family holiday trip to Koblenz with 3 days wargaming carefully snuck in. We'll be driving so I can pile up the car with food and wine!
