Early Danish - Clash of Empires - Cuirassiers

Can anyone advise what the German and Danish cuirassiers in this list should look like?
I'm struggling to find much information for late 16th C (rather than 30YW) cuirassiers. I assume they would look different but in what way - did they develop out of their Reiters changing tactics (in which case Reiter figures might be appropriate) or men at arms abandoning the lance in favour of sword and pistol (I think the latter). Were there particular favoured helmets or armour styles or any other distinguishing styles? Finally any recommendations on figures?
