Are you sure we are in Sicily - prisoners?

Build 2.5.0, IPad

I was re-running Husky to see if the new AI made any difference and had positioned the Bazooka team (hidden) on the open ground over the hedge from the track where a convoy arrives in the first few moves (superior intelligence information!). The convoy arrived and moved down the track to the road. My Bazooka team had disappeared!

A couple of moves later I destroyed one of the lorries and the team re-appeared out of the lorry.

Had they been taken prisoner?

Now that would be an interesting addition - if you unit surrenders - then that unit it surrenders to gets destroyed you get your unit back - would add a different element

Or even better - when your unit surrenders it gets put in a holding pen at one of the enemy flags - now if that flag gets liberated you get those 'surrendered' units back, you could even have a prison break mod to enable strategic surrendering and then getting released behind enemy lines.........

I doubt the SS even take prisoners, so late war scenarios are a death trap..

In my case the guards kindly let the team keep their weapons although they did all get shot by a nearby vehicle when they escaped from the lorry. A bit of a "Great Escape" type episode really.
