Core units from different nations?

I was wondering if you`re planing to support the incorporation into the player`s core of units from more than the main faction. For example give the player the possibility when he plays a US campaign and reaches a scenario where British or Australian units are present to recruit some of their units and take them along in subsequent scenarios. Basically I`m asking for something similar to what existed in PG2 where in the main campaign the player could recruit Spanish, Finnish, Romanian, Italian etc. units when he fought alongside those allies in a campaign scenario. The units were then part of the main core and could be placed on the map in future scenarios. If the player used them to capture a flag that gave access to recruitment then the player could access those nations` recruiting pool again and could "buy" further allied units if he wanted. It`s something that increased diversity and added something to re-playability of the campaign as you had a larger pool of units from which to choose. Plus, it made the units of the smaller nations have a point beyond them being pre-placed on the map.
I should also stress that considering whether this is the best way to historically reflect things is besides the point. Only the player can do this and he`s free to recruit or not to recruit allied units instead of those of his own nation. It changes nothing for anyone who do not want to use this feature.

The game supports multiple independent cores. One or more of these cores may be (un)available in each individual scenario. Resources are also acquired per nation so there's always a reason to treat each nation/core to the best of your ability without having to use "house rules" to keep historical accuracy.

That possibility had not occurred to me actually. :D It sounds like an interesting solution, but I`m sorta apprehensive about how it will be implemented. By which I mean that - in my opinion - each core needs to be present into at least 3 or 4 scenarios (or less than that but have a crucial role) to justify putting effort into developing its capabilities. Thus I`m hoping for a long campaign. :) Thank you for the reply!

Multiple nations in your Core is not a problem.

It's a matter of design, in the maps and campaign.
