By the way, any chance of ds conversion of Commander Europe at War?

It's not something we've ruled out but are not actively working on it at the moment.

Hi, will the real-time phase play like legion or spartan games or will it be more 'hands on'?

Thanks.

There will be real time battle resolution but its more of a visual reward than anything else. It's not interactive - you just get to see the guys battling things out, like in Legion.

This would be very nice. I hope it's something you guys are still considering.

With the 20+ sides will this include all the major states at the time such as Macedonia, Ptolemaic Egypt, Carthage, Seleucids and Celts etc?
Also will it feature a Mediterranean campagin?

Many thanks.

We've focused on smaller & more playable individual campaigns in this game, so Gaul is a campaign, Unifying Italy is a campaign etc. We decided against one mega campaign because we felt it would be too much for the player to manage.

Outstanding, someone else shares my thoughts on this idea.

And Ian, I support making the games small managable and limited. It's a DS, no reason to pretend this game is being made for a PS3 or a high powered computer.

Make it well, and I will gladly buy the next release that follows it into the next location setting.

Any sandbox play where one expands settlements?

I think a Grand Campaign would be desirable amongst us wargamer-types. :D

Excellent! Now that we've got you talking, how about those screenshots?
