DDS file sizes

Absolutely Luving it so far- new height hills
There seems to be no changes in the object file structures based on the few s3f files that have slipped through, so I presume the existing exporters should still work ?
A quick check of the graphic files and there seem to be a couple of dds files that are bigger than they normally would have been in the past , but may they should be with BA2
Utilities - GERMAN_AMBULANCE
Lendlease - sherman
Lendlease - us_truck
Objects - Russian - town_buildings
Objects - Russian - russian_village_@_D_M
Objects - Russian - russian_village_@_M
Objects - Russian - town_buildings_D_M
Objects- Russian Winter - town_buildings_M
PS Great to see the no more odd normals.

I imagine that Richard has just decided to use some larger textures - but just in case I will check the encoding he has chosen
The s3f files are pretty much unchanged yes - so the exporters will all still work!

The Pacific Mod works on BA2 with some scripts issues:
All new units/models works!

Welcome.

In all cases the models made to BA1 work with BA2!
By cons porting scripts is another story!

Don't rejoice too quickly: there a tons of work to porting this mod on BA2! Actually it's working but with some scripts issues but no yet crash. And I want to integrate the very cool new features of BA2. So I have a lot of modification and changes to make before releasing.

Totally understand...just cool knowing that with some work, your hard work will allow us to enjoy it on the new engine of BA2!

Yes I say we move the project here, as BA 2 is very promising for the mod! I hope Tim1966 moves his WW1 mod to BA 2 as well!

I have not slept much last nights, but the Pacific Mod is full working on BA2!

I have some warning on debug mode (caused by the complex damage system for armor and the AI) but nothing serious. I have tested the solo part and all seems ok.
No bug spotted, but no (yet) new BA2 features included (smoke, ...)
