Sorry if this has been answered but I searched and couldn't find it. My question is, why can't I buy allied replacements (I have iPad version). e.g. I can't buy Australian infantry yet they appear in the replacement pool?

What do you mean?
When a unit is damage just press the buttion on the righ with a cross or the one next to it and the unit will get replacements

Sorry I wasn't clear. Ok, I want to buy a new tank unit for example. I can buy US or British tanks but I can't buy a Free French unit which can join my core forces. Does that make more sense? In the old Panzer general game you could do that. The units are there to buy but it doesn't allow me to purchase them.

The decision was to only include those as auxiliary units.

That makes me a sad panda :-(
I loved having a cool foreign legion attached to my core force. Please consider changing it in an upgrade later. Otherwise thanks for a great game. And thanks for taking the time to answer.

Yes, using minor powers units was fun in PG2. I fondly remember dragging a Spanish and Finnish infantry unit through the whole of the war when playing as the Axis.

Soon I will be releasing an update to the AT and AA Mod.

If you use that along with the Danzig campaign, you can have any country in your core.

Well it is possible to buy units form minor countries in the scenarios even if none of the city's on the map belong to a minor by using a unit form a minor countrie to capture a ememy city.
