Special Units

I thought I’d post some pics of some of my versions ( in 28mm) of some of the “ special formations" in the lists. They are shiny and bit “toy soldierly” in the pics as I use a satin acrylic spray and the camera greatly exaggerates the shine ! This is Fournier's Division of 1812. They are all Connoisseur figs except the man himself who is the Foundry French Hussar officer and trumpeter. On the left the Hessians, the centre the Lancers de berg and Prinz Johann Saxon Chev Leger and on the right the Baden Hussars.

This is Lassalle's Infernal brigade. The Hussars are Elite and the Figure is Old Glory. Because my cavalry figs are all in 2's and 4's ( (thousands pre FOG(N)) my large units are 20 figs not 18.

These are all Calpe Figures, probably the best 28mm 1813-1815 Prussians you can get.

This one is a British line - to the fore the 43rd Light infantry behind them the KGL and in the background a Royal Marine unit. Mix of Old Glory (KGL) and Front Rank.
