CEAW vGS3 support MOD editing, bug game balance, Attack Rang

Good morning I need help to solve a problem in balancing the game, editing the DATA carperta UNIT.txt in the Attack Range of the artillery of armor, Motorised_Corps and Battleship, I get the game see but do not realize the game. Where I can change this?.
In the DATA General.txt carperta, I see no action to change this. And more real change in distance over a range of three units with artillery.
I want to add more hexagon +1 (Attack Rang) at three units as I can get this?.
armor >>> new real 2 Attack Rang, old 1 Attack Rang
Motorised_Corps >>> new real 2 Attack Rang, old 1 Attack Rang
Battleship >>>> new real 2 Attack Rang, old 1 Attack Rang
Land Spotting two
Sea Spotting two
Shock Attack plus the number of artillery damage.

I've never tried changing land unit attack ranges but you should be able to change them as well as sea & land spotting in the following 2 files (in the ..\CEAW\
data folder*) :
- "unit.txt"
- "unit_lang.txt" (Where lang=whatever language you use to play the game, for example: "unit_eng.txt")
TIPS:
- You probably have to make the change in both files.
- I find it easier to edit these files by importing them into an excel file, then re-exporting back to text, but you could edit this data in a text editor if you were careful with your changes.
- Note that you cannot change these values by
country, only by unit type (Garrison, Corps, Motorised_Corps, etc.).
* CEAW = whatever your main game folder is named.

Thanks for responding, Yes I know, and is also so changed in the language files, but still does not work, I see the changes made to the unit but not done in the game. Edited files with (NOTEPAD ++, better than windows notepad).

Perhaps the land unit range was hard coded to ensure the game was not reworked using a different map scale.
