End of Game "bugs"

1. I had researched all technologies, but had disabled "Scientific Victory". When I researched last technology the "choose research" prompt came up, but I could not research anything, so I had to stop the game because I could not pass the "choose research" prompt.
2. I won by scientific victory in another game, but wanted to use all my new technologies in battle so I chose to "continue playing". However, I could not contact any of the other empires in the diplomacy screen, and therefore could not declare war on them. All I could do was build, and build....
