I am playing the GC 1939-45 I just finished the Low Countries scenario was only able to manage a marginal victory :? I had 3 fighters and 2 stukas in my core army, and I have reform option enabled. In the next scenario, where I have to take Paris, I only have 1 fighter and 1 stuka and they are not in my reform list but I know they weren't destroyed! Am I missing something? My only thought is that they ran out of fuel...but should they not be reformed in the next scenario? Any help appreciated!

There is a bug with the reform units feature. If your planes crash because they run out of fuel they do not appear on the list. I am notorious for parking a wounded fighter or bomber at a city instead of the airfield next to the city and then forgetting it just to miss the unit in the next scenario so i an confirm it.

I have eventually learned that powering my airforce on nothing but fresh air is not such a good idea, and knowing that Reform Units doesn't work has made me more careful.

I have a suspicion that Reform Units doesn't work for units that surrender. Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

I never allow my units to surrender.

They must fight to death.

Good question!
