After installing 1.4 patch the game doesn't work.
After clicking on start a new game, it seems like the game freezes and the loading screen just stays there indefinetly. If I click my mouse, the game crashes back to windows.

I played a few games with the 1.3, everything was ok.
I tried reinstalling the game several times and then applying patch but to no avail.

I would appreciate if someone could try and help me.

Thanks for reporting, it will surely be investigated. For I can only advise to downgrade to 1.3 patch.

I've been trying to solve the problem myself. I have win7 32 bit, amd 64 turionx2, 3gb ram, ati hd3650 512mb graphics card.

The game crashes to windows after clicking on start a new game during the loading screen (I get 'program not responding' message).

In the windows crash report I get this;

Maybe it is the problem in my ati radeon HD3650 drivers ?

I have the latest drivers installed (13.9).

By using the same logic from a similiar problem (http://steamcommunity.com/app/208200/di ... 395601/#p1)
I tried to insert atioglxx.dll file from the older drivers (11.8 ) next to my ctgw.exe file. However it still doesn't help.

I'm not sure is it the problem with my drivers or maybe win7. Do you think would installing windows xp help ?


I get another crash when I go to Load a previous game screen and try to delet an 'empy' saved game. I suppose this is ok since I don't have any saved games.

No no, please don't install Win XP, there should be no need to do that. I play on Win 7 too. If game was working fine on patch 1.3 it has to work on 1.4 too, I am now swamped with iOS version of CTGW (coming soon!) and I will get back to you as soon as possible (should be next week). Sorry for inconvenience.

After a lot of drivers installing/uninstalling - I've fixed the problem.

Glad to hear you managed to make it work

And sorry it was so problematic. OpenGL support on Windows is way worse than advertising :/
