I have iPad 1 - I am using the campaign mode and am in Polish invasion. So far I have executed three turns and in each turn the game crashed: once when I moved an airplane; once when I ended my turn; and once when I attacked. I am now saving continuously. Is this because of the older iPad oris this an overall issue?

I would recommend rebooting or shutting down any other running apps before playing the game - that should help at least somewhat. Are you playing zoomed out, or at the standard zoom level?

I did reboot. I have experienced this crash at both zoomed in and standard zoom. The fact that it saves at the start of every move is great, but when I progress into a move and often, when almost done, it crashed and all progress is lost.

We weren't aware of how aggressive iOS could be with memory on iPad 1 when we launched, but we are putting in some special iPad 1 optimisations for the next update. Sorry for the inconvenience until then.

Same issue here. It only started happening yesterday.

You could try closing other apps and restarting the device if its a new issue. Is it happening in a repeatable place?

Always in the middle of playing an MP turn. I am on Ipad2, but a background close and hard reboot seemed to solve it. Zoom changes had no practical effect on the problem. I didn't have that may apps open. It seems very aggressive on iPad2's memory as well. I wonder if the memory cache from the replay is still obtaining or "holding" memory space. even though the upload and playback has already taken place.

I just recently started having the same issue on my Ipad2.

It only seems to happen when I load a save file (Barbarossa '41) and when the game is in deployment mode, before the first turn. I can load the save but when I try to buy a unit or disband a unit in deployment mode the game crashes back to the iPad's home screen. I've got everything unloaded from memory and have done the hard reset.

Love the game though. Barbarossa has got me stumped, always one or two turns short of decisive (which is why I keep going back to my save file!).

We're going to do some general memory improvement for the patch which will hopefully address all of these issues. Thanks for you patience!
