3DS release?

I'm posting this from my Nintendo 3ds and thinking, is there any chance of a 3ds release?

The power of the system is quite good, so I think it would be at least worth considering it.

I understand that it isn't quite as capable of running games as a PC is, but it may be possible to make a "lite" version:

Barbarossa and Kiev joined together, Moscow 41 stays.
PzIVs are combined to have just IVD, IVF2, and IVJ
etc.

Anyone who has an opinion on this, feel free to post here.

What you are suggesting is redoing the equipment list and scenario files just for a single platform. This I feel is exceedingly unlikely.

Either a port can be made to support existing campaign files and DLCs or it likely won't be considered at all.

I see what you are saying, but often lite versions of games on one platform are successful enough that it gets ported to even more systems, thus increasing profit.

It will be interesting to see what happens

There was a game released for the DS in 2007, which I have, called Panzer Tactics which was, I believe, derived from Panzer General (which I haven't played an am unfamiliar with). It's very similar to Panzer Corps, actually, and was a good game.

Here's its page on IGN with screenshots:

The pinnacle of this type of game for the DS was the Advance Wars series.
