Hi!

I move to Stirling in February and I'd like to find some FoG opponents. Is there any here? :)

Juan

Not sure about Stirling. But there are strong clubs in Glasgow, Perth, Falkirk and Livingston. Theres also a good tournament circuit. Private message me and I can give you some contacts.

There is a strong club in Stirling, but as far as I know they are fantasy only. For historical games, the nearest will be Falkirk, where are several FoG players. Search on Falkirk District Wargames Club or send Alan a message as above.

Thanks! I've visited both clubs' web pages and I think Falkirk one is the club I'm looking for :)

Perth is half an hour up the A9 with a good number of committed FOG players. We meet on Thursdays at 7 at Luncarty Juniors Football Club. Hunter.

Whichever club you choose to join you will find a great bunch of friendly FoG players north of the wall.

Which wall? Stirling is north of the Antonine Wall, and Falkirk is right on it.

Juan, I've messaged you with some contacts and details of Scottish League. If you're here in time there is also Schiltron in March (held in Glasgow).

I'd say you'll find friendly players around 400 miles north of either wall ;)

I've read it, thanks!! I'll be there in March, but I'm sure I will not be able to play. I've sold my last painted army and I don't think I'll have a new one painted soon. I'm really looking forward to get some battles, so I'll try to paint a new one

Hi Juan

I'm sure many of us would be willing to loan you an army for the weekend at Schiltron if you want to play.

Schiltron is 29/30th March. If you want to play I'm sure suitable figures can be loaned. It would be a good chance for you to meet a good cross-section of Scottish FoG-AM players.

Should manage a loan between us all. Alan means a lot of different players - who will likley be both Scots and lesser mortals  - when he says a cross section, Juan. Not an angry bunch.
