(TOTAL 27)

I closed 3 by claiming Victory

BALANCE IS NOW: 24
According to Slitherine I should now be able to make 6 challenges. That would be a total of 9 Challenges Open plus the 24 that are in progress : 30 games
A few minutes ago...

I clicked "NEW CHALLENGE"

Red Popup: TOO MANY GAMES OR CHALLENGES IN PROGRESS

Slithering had promised 30 games.

This continues to be a major issue and I know it is not only with me. Indeed...it seems to be an issue with most members.

A day later and the issue persists....

My max is 24 and not 30.

I am chasing this up to determine the problem.

I have 8 ongoing games and 5 challenges. I can make challenges, but cannot accept any.

Are you guys going to get this squared away? I would be satisfied if there was a rhyme or reason related to your stated limits. It'd be nice to actually be able to count on what are currently stated as the limits for ongoing games or challenges outstanding.

Thanks for the report. Please do keep posting if you are not getting your full complement of games, as it helps the server team work out what is going on with this annoyingly persistent bug!

Great. Is there any eta for reolution of this issue first reported by Erommel 2 days ago? Or mine, which was reported originally the *last* time this limit was reimposed.

No ETA I'm afraid. But I am chasing the server team to make sure this is a priority for them.

Problem is still the same. The question you need to ask:

Would it be better to return to the status quo of the previous year with no limit knowing that once in a while someone will post 70 challenges that are likely to be ignored. This option makes moders and those that paid money and love playing daily happy

Or

Continue to punish everyone because one dude posted 70 challenges. This option shows your lack of respect to dedicated members and sucks anyhow because the limit is much more restrictive than the rule you set. The benefit however is that members will have fear to post too many challenges...mmmmm maybe that last one is arguably a negative as research shows that punitive measures are not effective as business models


@navaronegun. That sucks buddy. 13 is far worse than the 24 limit I have. Hope it works out! When it does please try my Peiper Campaign ( I'm not one to miss a plug. Lol)

I'd like to, but I am busy with Tunisia, and as you said, I currently fear posting any new challenges. I want to at least move forward with my project, and This issue seems to crop up every week or week and a half now. It would suck to finish a new scenario and not even be able to play against myself. Wait, that just happened! . Anyhow, Until consistency of some sort returns to PBEM++, I am being a minimalist, with my 13 limit and all...

A fix on the server should now be live. Can you guys having problems check that you can now correctly achieve your full complement of games.

If I am doing this right I don't believe that adds up to 30.

When I try to add a challenge I get the red pop up as stated above.

Come on pip, where is your Christmas spirit?

Everything seems to be fine now, Pip. I can accept and post challenges. I haven't revved up to 30 (20+10) yet, however, I am at 12+2.

I clicked to add a challenge to test it and got the red message telling me that I am at my max.

I am 4 games short. Not a major issue but it would be nice for this issue to be fixed.

I have 11 games and 16 challenges (posted all of them one after the other) so far no error message.

Yeah, 30 is maximum, I have just checked. Is there an easy way to lift the limit for say users that have been playing consistently BA in multiplayer for a period of time of X months, or that have accumulated an Y numbers of completed games?
