Multiplayer first game. Bug and feedback

Just finished my first MP duel with Apheirox and overall it was a lot of fun! We played on a tiny pangea map, just 2 factions, Alien on High.

We ran into 2 annoying bugs :

- The first one is linked to economic victory. The first game was won after just a few turn because one of us took a hive, and that was enought to tip the economic victory, so we had to reload. I guess this is linked to the problem of having only 2 players but its kind of lame and made us waste 30 minutes. We restarted the game and unselected economic victory.
- The second annoyance is on the chat. For some reason it is very easy for the typing box to be 'unselected' with no other option than to press enter and send an incomplete sentence. This happens when you have any diplo, tech or news announcement and more annoyingly when another player send a message.

Other than that it was all good. The general performance of the game for me was good but I was the host and Apheirox experienced some lag on his side. This became quite important when we start fighting as my order were taken in account first so i did had an edge.

Alien life was a real B*** in this game as we were only 2 faction to clear the map ( I actually lost a city to alien, first time it ever happened to me) so I would recommand to lower alien activity if you want to concentrate on PVP.

Thanks for the games, boulugre! I learned a hard lesson with that range-2 artillery... I think you are correct when you said multiplayer has a lot of potential. It is definitely a wholly different game playing against a human opponent rather than the AI. I really hope to see more people online because it's a lot of fun and much more challenging!

First of all: Credit to Slitherine for how well MP works. We were connecting from opposite sides of the globe and the only problems were some lag on one end. Very happy to see the game has simultaneous turns although I would like to request you also add the 'hybrid' mode known from Civ V where the game switches to turn-based once a war is declared. If only the game gets some more players the MP scene could be great for this game!

I have a third annoyance to add to the list though: Pandora is extremely poor at handling switching between fullscreen and windowed mode, making it hard to communicate with players outside of the game. I hope this gets looked at so the game becomes more alt+tab friendly and also so that it becomes possible to scroll the edge of the map in the game using the mouse when running in windowed mode (currently only possible using arrow keys).

Haha artillery for the win! :P I am sure next game I won't be able to use the same strat as you will be ready for it 8)

This game was a lot of fun and as I rushed you early we haven't even used a quarter of the military stuff. No plane, no nukes, no radar scan, not even a single orbital strike lol. I look forward to a longer game next time and yes I would like to join you in encouraging other player to try the Multiplayer side of this game, it is worth it!
