Problem with Scourge of War: Gettysburg

I downloaded the game and it installed but when I go to play it I only get browned out sections with no identifications. I also purchased Brandy Station but missed seeing that Gettysburg needed to be purchased first. It also downloaded but now is missing so I can't activate it. Please help. Thanks.

Do you have Windows 8?

I have just bought the 150th anniversary addition, I have windows 8 and all of the menu options are just brown boxes. Please help!
