Big bug : city taken at peace

I am at the late period (pods are available to almost everyone)
I'm at peace with everyone + have open border.
My neighbours are at war and fights on my territory.

Suddenly bang one of my city is lost. A green units appears out of nowhere and took it (event with 1 80 pwr mech in it + infantry).
Reruned saved game : same problem.

I guessed it was a drop using open border and a bug that turns city once a foreign unit enters it.

Reruned saved game : removed open border. No city lost.

So I fear it's a game breaking bug (if exploited...)
I can always reload but what if it happens between AI too ??

Humm tested a little more : yep I can take any AI city that has open border with me.... The 'defending' unit just flees and leaves me my friendly neighbour city..
And the AI still keeps getting happy with me.

Please confirm and tell us when it can be corrected... I'll wait until a patch because it forces you to play without openborder and distorts the game... If at least my troops fought back...

My 2 cents : I wished droping on a city was impossible. Or dropping on hostile unit. Or should get a huge attack from the units seing you landing...

Very nice game except that. I just feel AI a bit too trigger happy with nukes, especially around my city while they fight each other and I'm at peace with everyone...

My 3 cents : maybe nukes and drops are a bit overpowered. Maybe getting to space should be limited : a few units per turn ? In old civ, you could only ship one unit per airfield ?

+1 on nukes, drop pods and even orbital bombardment to a degree. As discussed before feel strongly that employment of nukes and orbital bombardment should incur a loss of one or more levels of diplomatic standing with all factions except ally currently participating in DoW with aggressor(nukes given the most malus). As to drop pods maybe a dynamic that dropping into a zone of control incurs a 50-66% hit point loss to unit dropping in (due to proximity to assets provided by civil defense?) and deny direct drops into any city plus no movement ability until next turn after drop.
