Flight controllers

If I have to assign the flight controllers during 2nd / 3rd / ... season of the extended missions (e.g. Sputnik), I have to assign a "Booster" specialist even though there is no need for. Maybe you can save this man so I can put it to a parallel mission.
b.t.w. Do the Flight Director has any influence on the mission? Which kind of specialist I should assign?

I'm not sure about the influence of the FD, but you should add a flight controller with good knowledge in "Mission Operations". Just try to assign the flight controllers manually and you'll see the important stat highlighted in green.

Yes, you're right on that one. I'm already planning to change that in a future update so that the mission layouts are defined on a per-season basis, instead of doing it at the mission configuration level.

At the moment it doesn't, but I'm planning to add it into the equation for the next build. The idea is that the average of the Flight Director's skill will contribute to the outcome of the "saving throw".
