Another problem

Just received this

I had a few problems yesterday. This error may have come from me trying to play a saved game.

Also left another post before about another issue. I noticed that somebody wished to reinstall game and was answered immediately, my last post is over a week old.

I only bought game online do not have any disks so what info would you need to reinsatll and where would I find info, ie, serial numbers of game or proof of purchase etc?

If I do reinstall game will that affect ongoing games and saved games? This is very important as I am playing a few important games at the mo.

If you want to be sure that nothing will happen to your save files make a backup reinstalling the game.. You can find them in Documents\Slitherine

Regarding your other question, write an email to support[at]slitherine.co.uk with your order details (name, email address used to place the order and order reference number) and we will provide you with new download links.

There are ongoing multiplayer games how do I save these. It is my opponents turn

I do not know my reference number, where do I find that. I have saved licence numbers for DAF and EE but nothing else

Have noticed that Mcaffee is a real pain. If it is scanning I have to stop playing. Even when I am playing all of a sudden there will be a message from BT Net protect plus telling me it is looking for updates "vulnerability scanning". Not only does this affect FOG digital but any other pc game or use of website.

Don't worry with the multiplayer games, they are on the server.
The order reference number can be found on the receipt when you purchased the game.

I do not have any order refernce number. I can not find it. Bought the game over 3 years ago. Where do I find the order reference number.

When you purchase anything, online or not, you should get a receipt. If you purchased through our online shop, you received one separate email with the receipt. On the receipt you'll find your order reference number.
If you have deleted or lost that email it can be harder to find your order, but that doesn't mean we don't try to locate it. If you provide the email address with which you have placed your order, name and the approximate date of purchase maybe we can locate your order without the order reference number.

my email addresses are xxxxxxxx and xxxxxx.

Date of purchase, not sure either end of May 2010 or beginning of June 2010. I joined the forum on 15th June but I had purchased the game before that date.

I posted a problem nearly 2 weeks ago. You have my email address can't you just forward me the ref number and how I should uninstall and reinstall to solve the problems I have.

Here is my initial post which has not been answered

Downloading scenarios

Hi

I seem to be having a problem in downloading new scenarios.

I save new scenario folder in doucment file. It is in winrar format. I open it and move it FOG scneraios (in SLitherine folder). When I open the FOG game the scenario is not included in historical games, battlepack or custom game.

I can see the various scenarios folders in FOG scenarios and in games (open file location in FOG, go to games folder) Agincourt, Marathon the older games are in both and I can play these in scenarios, historical games. The most recent scenarios, eg Crecy,Platea etc are again in fog scenario and game folders but are not in the game.

I had played a few of these new sceanrios before but now they no longer exist. I think they were in battlepack1 but once more battlepack1 and custom games are both empty.

Also I can not create any scenarios as well.

Have clicked on updates and I am told I am upto date but there is a possibility I may have lost some files.
