I purchased the 1.00 From matrix. Can you give me a step-by step instruction of how to go from 1.oo to CAEW Gold 3.0 on 64 bit windows 7? I may need to re-download some of the patches, and don't know how to do this. I currently have 1.00, 1.00-1.12 1.12-gold 2.0 & 3.0 Gold. PLEASE Help.

Try the following:

1. Install the basic game 1.00.

2. Download and install patch 1.12 from the link below:
ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/Commander ... e-v112.zip

3. Download and install GS 3.0 from the link below:
http://www.patches-scrolls.de/bonus/975 ... 6/download
Install GS 3.0 in the same path as the basic game is installed.

Dumb question, back a few years ago I purchased the original CEAW 1.00 (and the patch 1.12) can I apply this download to that version?

When I click my original game's link to Slitherine, it shows my version of the game is no longer supported/sold and has been replaced with the MH version. I really don't want to spend another 40 bucks to upgrade if at all possible.

Thoughts?

Does your version has a serial number? Have you bought therough Slitherine or through Matrix Games shop?

Yes, I can't recall which one I purchased it from, but yes. I currently have my copy patched up to 1.12. I have the v3.0 exe but have not tried to install it yet, cause of the confusion with CEAW not being supported any more, but only the MH one.
