So I bought the game, but I also want to keep using the Beta (0.29.1) to continue my AAR.

Would this create any conflicts? Would they act as two stand-alone applications? Will I be able to choose which of the two to load from the launcher (as I recall reading something about regarding future test builds)? Something else...?

One of the last updates added the option to chose beta or release. I think this is what you want. Maybe you can ignore updates while you finish it?

That's what I understood I could do, but not sure if it just applies to post-release beta builds, or if I'm good with my old version.

I guess I could just install the game and see what happens, but I'd rather not take the chance of breaking my beta, on the small off-chance.

You can have them both installed without any problems as long as you don't install one over the other.

Yup, just installed.

Beta: Program Files/Proxy Studios/Pandora Beta
Gold: Program Files/Slitherine/Pandora

So I can go into the beta and finish my game after I purchase the retail copy? I want to finish that one before starting a new one with the release.

Yup, they basically act completely independently.

You could even run them side-by-side in windowed mode and play two games at once.
