Mortars too lazy

Whenever I play BA for ipad I find that enemy mortars do not react to anything. They just sit there and relax like they are watching a movie. Any suggestions? cause it is annoying

They are mortars. Don't expect them to be armed with MG 42's!

What I meant was that they never fire at me when it is the AI turn

Mortars don't get reaction fire. This is somewhat by design, but we are aiming to have them be a little less totally passive in BA2.
