It´s early 1940, the UK have not been engaged in combat yet (just some minor air attacks and a couple of fleets damaged) and the stats shows a 1.415.000 casualties so far. How come?

This is because all the Allied minors (Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway etc.) losses are added to the British losses statistics.
