I installed the game using the dvd; after install, I try to launch, and an error says:
"AudioError: No ALUT error found
What can I do?

Hi, thanks for your report. It seems that you didn't install openAL library during installation of the game, or your system cannot find it for some reason.

Try reinstalling the game, and after game files are copied to destination folder, check two checkboxes in the installer - "Open AL" and "Visual C++" and click "Next" to install these additional libraries, that are required for game to run.

I re-installed the game; the visualC++ also, but the problem remains... HELP! ^^

Can you provide contents of ctgw.log file? It should be in this or similar dir: C:\Users\<yourusername>\My Documents\My Games\Commander: The Great War\ctgw.log

Please try to reinstall OpenAL with the file provided in this link: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/391 ... alinst.exe and let me know if it helped you.

I re-re-installed OpenAL using your link; the result is exactly the same. I am in a deep despair! (or not ^^)

This is most likely a graphical driver issue, please try and install the official drivers, links and more tips here how to report more info, so we can help, but try the driver first:
