Impression and Lack of Editor

Well, I recently got to finally play the game and have to say, it is very close to Alpha Centaury, just using a different Version of Civilisation as base for it all, what is of course cool.
Like the randomisation of the Tech Tree and the whole alien planet feeling, that quickly seems to fade after some time though, when you get more and more advanced.
What I would however love to see is some kind of Editor, like you get in most CIV games. You know, a program or function that allows me the change the Landscape, add/remove resources, units and the like. Sure, some might consider that as cheating, but I like to balance the scales at times, maybe add some more wildlife at certain places or change the resource distribution every now and then. Maybe something like that might be provided in the full release, but I have not read about it so far.
Beside that, the game was rather nice and intuitive, especially if you have played past Civilisation games, or, well Alpha Centaury. Especially the ability to build and design your own untis is a nice change to the normal Stock Set ups you get in your Civ games.
All in all I would say I had a rather positive experience with Pandora so far. an Editor would be rather nice never the less.
