Intro & Settings: Seems low budget, but not bad. Started on very easy to get a feel for it.
5 minutes in: Everything seems pretty straightforward. Intuitive controls and choices. Research doesn't seem to make sense, but it said it was randomized so I guess that's intentional.
30 minutes in: Oh, OK. The AI is going to start out aggressive? Alright then.
1 hour in: Everything is getting VERY difficult to manage when all the other factions are either at war with me or demanding tributes. Warring factions seem to be pumping out units faster than they should. When they go to war they're super serious and they get a one-track mind. AI seems... over-zealous. Maybe it's geared for shorter games?
Overall I like it, but it has a STEEP learning curve, even on the easiest modes. Give a player a chance to get the hang of it before you destroy them!
