Interception

Is an interception move counted as a charge for the purposes of determining POAs? I assume it is - just checking really!

Troops making an interception move are considered to be charging so intercepting lancers with spearmen is a bad idea most of the time.

Which is as it should be. The devil is in the detail in a set of rules - and I must say the more I look at these rules the more I like them!
