as a soon-to-be owner of an iPad (and yes, the prospect of playing PC on that helped with the purchase decision) I have 2 questions that might or might not be answerable yet.

1. What would be the price and are there any plans for a discount for PC game owners? I am asking because I bought everything so far, and spending another 30 bucks on the app would maybe make me reconsider the purchase. Now don't get me wrong, for a great game like this the price is more than justified, it would just continue to play on the PC. If the price for the app is in a lower price tier, no biggie then. Or maybe the DLC's are free if you have the correct serial? Anyway, any thoughts on thsi would be welcome.

2. This is even more important and would make me so happy: save game transfer! Now I don't know about technical limitations, but since the game will be pretty much identical from what I've heard, could there be a way to transfer savegames or at least unit lists to the game? It would be enough if you had some file that just tells the app that you are currently at level X in DLC Y, with which units plus stas and heroes. I would very much appreciate this feature and that would maybe even make me buying at a higher pricing tier

No pricing info yet - but I can tell you that we are not allowed to tie iOS titles to other purchases.

Savegame transfer is an interesting idea. We will have to think about whether it is something we could do, and how we could do it!

Is it a bad thing that I've been almost literally holding my breath for this to be released ever since the beta was announced? I have gift cards collecting dust in my iTunes account waiting to buy it and everything associated with it. I think my expectations are getting so high that they are bound to be let down a bit when the reality arrives ... so if someone could please tell me something less than glowing about PzC in the meantime, it might help.

Unfortunately, such option does not exist, at least does not exist yet. What Pocket Tactics describes has to do with Multiplayer - you will be able to play your MP games from PC and iPad interchangeably, as soon as we patch the PC version (should be any day now).

While we are on the subject of sharing saves between iPad and PC, how would you guys want to see it implemented? Copy saved games manually, or have some sort of automatic sync when iPad is connected to PC, or uploading the games to cloud, or anything else? Let us know.

I've got the iPad game after being an avid PC player.

A few comments on the iPad version:

- would be good to,be able to put the music sound off... Not sure why on iPad that's not possible.
- graphics on retina ipad look a bit blurry, we need more definition

Having a perfect copy of Panzer in iPad is a major achievement don't get me wrong.
The ability to play/save on PC and continue playing on iPad would be cool too, via cloud.

thanks for the reply! This sounds awesome, thanks for implementing that. I really don't know what the best way is, I am fine with anything, just go with what is easiest to implement. Maybe just an API to dropbox or whatever would do the job.

I agree the units look blurry. When I want to know how a Vehicle looks I have to exit the game and look in the library portion of the game. Would be nice if there was an in game version of it. More importantly I would like to see the units resolution get fixed and be able to make out the details of the tanks. Not trying to be a downer I think this is a great game but it needs some tweaking.

Ctrl+right click does not exist in PC version. There is right click (to invoke unit info) and ctrl+click (to invoke extended combat prediction). The former is available on iPad, just select a unit and tap its info block (where unit's name, type, stars etc. are shown). The latter is not available on iPad.

About blurry units, just to make sure I understand this correctly - are you saying that there is less detail on the units compared to the PC?

having purchased the iPad version yesterday, I must admit o being slightly dissapointed with the blurry units and the inability to turn off the music is doing my head on already. I can't believe that the beta testers were happy to hear the music playing non stop for hours potentially.

Please please give us a patch to leave the sound affects on, but turn off the damn music

You will be surprised but most people who were testing the game internally or in the beta were ok with music. But we hear the feedback, and this will be fixed in the next update.

In regards to the blurry units, yes there is less detail than on the PC version.
Possibly due to the retina display on iPad.

It's clearly noticeable.

I would really appreciate the music off control to come ASAP, for everyone's sanity sake!

Yes, the unit icons look slightly blurry.

Has anyone else noticed that the scrolling seems a bit strange at times where you hold down and scroll but the screen snaps back to it original position? It can make it hard to scroll at times.
