Slitherine

Whilst fully realising that this is only a beta version - and I thought the full release of this game would be 29/10/13 ???? - but i am a little disapointed with what I have seen so far - especially for the money you are asking for the full game !
I have Buzz Aldrins Race Into Space running on windows 7 and although the graphics are grainy but the game play I think is much better that BASPM and more historically correct !
For example - on BARIS I can enter any name I want for the Space Director and it has actual REAL Astronauts and Cosmonauts in the game plus you can edit these astronauts/Cosmonauts and put it any name you want for your astronaut.The names i have come across in BASPM are not even well made up I think !
Also I do like the competition between NASA and the Soviet Space program that BARIS gives me - its a real race into space and more in keeping with actual history
These are just my thought so far and I am hoping that the actual finished game (whenever that will be) may be an improvement ?

Seriously though, you are comparing a completed game to one that still has place holder text. Game play polish is very hard to do, and only comes after receiving feedback from many, many testers. BASPM has just started this phase. If you are expecting polish and a complete game, I suggest waiting for the retail version.

If you can't deal with bugs and unfinished games, please don't buy early access games...... thats the whole point....... it's not finished... help them finish it with ideas and bug reports, don't whine its not finished yet... they know its not :/

Well, constructive cristism = suggestions I think and this hasn't so negative tone We all know that game at the moment isn't perfect, but it has potenTial

I so agree it does have POTENTIAL and am looking forward to see how this game develops - having been a Slithereine fan from the outset - I am sure it will be a great simulation

I remember playing those Sparta slitherine games and maybe even something older? This is a company you can trust to provide a good product.

I so agree - I have been playing Slitherine games from Legion and through all the Roman army games - so i do know they are first class
