I have that same message since I updated to 0.7.3

The download link for the manual patch install is broken. I get a message stating that the "source" is invalid, and the file can't be saved.

Welcome to the forums. Try grabbing the patch using the "Update" button from the game's launcher.

I get the same error as the creator of this thread, the automatic downloader won't work.

The manual download gets me this: "C:\Users\Logan\Downloads\BASPM-UpdateComp-v073(1).zip.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read."

Sorry for this. On some occasions the automatic update feature may fail.

You can still update the game manually downloading the update from the link below:
ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/BuzzAldri ... p-v073.zip

Unzip the downloaded file and run the extracted file for updating the game.

THE MANUAL DOWNLOADS ARE ALL BROKEN. I have said this already!

I have checked it again and I'm afraid it's working.
Try downloading with a different browser and check if your anti-virus system is not interfering with the download.

I downloaded from the link provided with no problem, and from comments in other threads it seems others have too.

I thought rather than post a new topic regarding the latest patch (0.7.4) I'd reply here to say that my auto updater isn't working for this patch either. Any chance of getting a link to the .zip copy of the update? (I really want to go bug hunting, especially now the end date has been lifted, Got to check those prestige calculations after all )

The latest patch has not gone live yet, the folks at Matrix games are preparing the installer as I'm typing this. Don't worry, I'll post a message at the forums once it's ready for download.
