i have a little problem, i want to try play multiplayer for the first time in Panzer Corps but i made a huge mistake the username is to long to the checkbox for login username in multiplayer so no matter how i can't play
so my question is how can i solve this problem

Hello everyone,
I have a problem which could be similar in some case so I try to find a solution in this thread. I also wanted to try the multiplayer for the first time, so I created an username and password on slitherine and tried to play. But each time I try to log in in the multiplayer it says "Falscher Benutzername (wrong username)" but I am 100% sure that everything is correct. I also tried to make a new username ingame but there just haven´t been a possibility to register ingame so I don´t know what to do.
Hopefully somebody can help me.

Hello 2486, welcome to the forums. Do I understand correctly that you weren't able to register your game online, but you can log in to the forum normally? When you start Panzer Corps, do you get the small launcher screen first? This is were you can choose to start the game or check for updates, manuals, etc. On the bottom left of this screen are six buttons, one of them is for registering your copy of Panzer Corps.

Yes, I get the smal launcher screen and I was also able to register my game and to log in to forum normally. But when I try to start the multiplayer and I am asked to type my username and password, the status-screen always tells me that my username is incorrect (falscher Benutzername/wrong username). But it is the correct username because as you can see I am able to write with the same username and password here in the forum.
I hope you understand my problem and can help me with my problem.

Hello 2486, my apologies, I had some problems trying to post yesterday, but do you still have problems with your username in Multiplayer? If you do, it is best to contact VPaulus, as my moderator powers aren't sufficient to help with changing your name.

Have you had any other version of Panzer Corps installed in your Windows?

@VPaulus: This is the second time that I installed Panzer Corps (same version) in my windows. But the first time, I haven´t registered my game and so I didn´t try to play online, too.

pm your login details and your serial number.

I get a message that my version is too old and i need to upgrade. I cannot work out how to upgrade. Can you help?

Hello Cunningcairn, there are several ways to upgrade, the easiest for most is to start the game launcher, and select the 'Check for Update' option.

If it fails for some reason, you can use the link huertgenwald provided to download the patch directly, you can unzip the file and run it, it will update your game to version 1.21.

Please note a new patch version will soon be released so when that happens you will have to update again (or you can wait for the newest patch to be released and then update, this might save time if your download speed is very slow).
