unable to update

I just tried several times to use the update manager, and get the following error message:
An error occurred while trying to updae Buzz Aldrin's Space Program Manager. Please run the update application again or contact Matrix Games for help.
Error Details:
Unable to determine the installed version.
Could not get the specified value's data.
It also states that download of the latest file can be done directly from the website, but I cannot locate it there.

So the forum ate my post ... well, here goes again.
I had the same error and right now after an update of the updater, it starts the updater for Command Modern Air Naval Operations ... and fails horribly. =D
Solved: I just reinstalled the game and now it works. =)

As of 11-8-2013, I have been unable to update using the updater. Version 7.4 will download, but then I receive an error message that says: "Unable to download file. An error occurred while downloading information from the server."

Can you try downloading it from
ftp://ftp.matrixgames.com/pub/BuzzAldri ... p-v074.zip and installing it manually?
