				Is there any morale systems in Panzer Corps? I was thinking the higher your morale is the better chance of good rolls and vice versa.

				Well... maybe the supression system and retreat when fully supressed, surrender when not able to retreat-mechanic. but other than that I think moral is a bit out of place in such a high level abstraction of units. I mean what's the 'morale' of an entire bataillon to regiment sized thing?

				Given all the combat variables, I don't think it's a really missing item.
I have played games w/morale as a function - 1st being the BBC game Slitherine built for their history site several years ago. That was how I discovered Slitherine.  I really don't think it's an instrumental function for the combat scenarios modeled in Panzer Corps.  For marginal combatants, certain small scenarios, sure, it mattered. But not the scale/scope of this game.

				You could, if you wish, regard the heroes system as an abstract form of representing morale. For example, that +3 attack or defence hero doesn't literally represent one guy with the firepower of half a battalion or a bulletproof skin, no more than a +1 move hero represents one guy who can magically make tanks move faster, or a +1 spot hero is someone with huge binoculars. Rather, these things represent a unit whose experienced cadre and high morale make it unusually aggressive in attack; steadfast in defence; dynamic and thrusting on the move; relentless in patrolling and raiding, and so on.

				I like the descriptions of A and D heroes.  
I've probably mentioned it before, but +1 spotting air hero = Chuck Yeager. For a ground unit its, think of Rommel's view of reconnaisance (worth reading both biographies). 
+1 movement in vehicles could be due to expert maintenance crew keeping the vehicles in good order and running efficiently, a good commander who chooses his routes well or above average organisation so there's no snarl ups working out who goes where etc. Routes and organisation would also work for most other units.
