I like the new launcher, it's looks great, but I have one issue with it - it opens all the links in IE, which I don't use, instead of the default web browser. The times when everybody just used IE are long gone and respective the default choice for weblinks would be much appreciated.

Thanks - we never noticed this. I'll check out what it might be and if we can fix.

That should be fixable. I'm not sure what API that thing uses but windows has different APIs for using links directly, which openes the Operating system browser, and for just opening the link and let the OS choose the program based on the 'file type' which then means the browser the user selected. Any dev should take about 2 minutes to check which is which

It won't let me play through it says i failed a crc check, whatever that is and have to reinstall the game

crc check is a check for the control number of the file, so it can check if it has been modified, or damaged. My guess would be it checks the game exe, as other files can be modified.

CRC check errors are related with a corrupted installation of the game. On that case you'll have to uninstall all your Panzer Corps games and reinstall them.
