TCP/IP between Mac and PC on 3.0

Hello, I'm trying to get a TCP/IP game running for v3.0 of the Grand Campaign on my PC against a Mac player. Does anyone know if this is possible as we have been unable to make a connection?

as far as I know it isn't supported by ver 3.0

Note: Info is for Mac version. Do not know about PC. They should use the same ports.
