EROMMEL'S FANTASY DESERT SCENARIO

DOWNLOAD: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/100 ... RATEGY.LST

SCENARIO DESCRIPTION:
The map is a "mirror image" for both sides. Forces are also basically equal in types of units and in points. Where one tank was worth slightly more for the matched tank on the other side I found various ways to find a balance. Having slightly weaker tanks, for example, may give you a slightly stronger Anti-Tank unit. Units are based on 1944.

This is a "Fantasy" game or think of it as playing "Chess"

1) Maximum Size
2) Balanced Map that are virtually a mirror image
3) Forces that are balanced in type and points
4) Mixed Allies vs Mixed Axis
5) There are no reskins and no mods. Just the simple units that come with the game so although large it works well on ipad. I spent many hours on making a beautiful map, hope you enjoy it.

I hope you enjoy the game. Leave your comments and suggestions here. If you like this sort of game let me know as I am working on a few more ideas.

ERommel, are you and I currently playing the latest version of your desert strategy map?
I have not noticed any errors or issues so far. I find the center of the map the most interesting.
The rest seems like light and infrequent skirmish areas, but there is a ton of space which limits the speed of contact.

Hello, we are playing version 1. Version 2 is only slightly different. There are more rocks in the centre area for infantry to hide in along with a/t guns. There are also some sandbag positions here and there. Units are only slightly changed to give a bit more to the German side. I think I replaced a weaker panzer 3 for a panzer 4... Or something like that as we found in play testing that the allies had a slight advantage.

Although basic this game is offering lots of tactical fun. I am getting ready to release a large number of scenarios for the Peiper campaign... Working on a set of about 12 battles. I'm at battle map 7 La Gleize at the moment. Once I complete those I will be adding a number of desert games, same map but different forces and units. I have some fun ideas ...

Noticed the link for this map is still broken so I have created a new one for anyone that's want to play this map:

http://1drv.ms/1j9vCwf

Its compressed so you need to add the above link in your browser, download the compressed file (I use Microsofts One Drive only. I don't use dropbox sorry) . Uncompress/extract the file and read the How to install guide contained within the uncompressed file or from the guide below:

How to install guide Windows 7&8

Uncompress and copy the EROMMEL_DESERT_STRATEGY folder and all of its contents to the following default game location:

c:\users\'your username'\my documents\my games\BBCBA\MULITIPLAYER\copy EROMMEL_DESERT_STRATEGY folder here

How to install guide Windows xp

Still using Windows xp?! (Microsoft support ends very soon) Upgrade to Windows 7/8 :)

Yes, I would think you could use with Mac, although, not real sure how you would install? It needs to show up in the "...\My Games\BBCBA\MULTIPLAYER" folder, you ma be able to just unzip it to there?
