Ambushes

Ambushes, just curious if someone could give me an indication as to how they work? What size force can you have in concealment? Over what part of the board (i.e. does it have to be in the flanks/on your side of the table, etc)? Merely ask to get my juices flowing (I like light armies that mess with my opponents)
Cheers

Ambushes can be placed on their own half of the table by the side that lost initiative and in the rear 3/4 of their side of the table by the side which won the initiative (much like DBM). Ambushes are made by a whole battlegroup. As part of deployment each player gets to place ambush markers which may or may not be an actual ambush. These markers are one base square and need to be numbered. The ambushing player records which marker(s) really are ambushed and when the time comes places the BG on it's ambush marker. It is possible to move unrevealed ambushes simply by moving the marker.

Fair enough, it sounded odd when I wrote it to be honest.

I confess I only noticed because I did a double-take on reading it, being DBM influenced

Note to self - next time read the rules BEFORE you answer a question.
