Slitherine

What is the relationship between Proxy Studios, Slitherine, and Matrix Games?
They each have their own website and games, but I can't figure it out. I've notice that the forum moderators have different logos too, depending on their affiliation.

Are they 3 different game developers?
Were they acquired by 1 company?
Is 1 the developer, another a game publisher or something?

I'm just curious about how it works. Thanks.

EDIT: I'm thinking that Matrix Games and Proxy Studios are developers and Slitherine is the publisher. Close?

Slitherine, Matrix and Ageod are all part of the Slitherine group. We are a publisher. We do have internal development capacity (Battle Academy, Close Combat, Civil War II etc) but the majority of games we publish are from independent developers. We are effectively one company and share staff, servers, use the same installers and the same store system.

Proxy Studios are an independent developer who we funded to help create Pandora. We saw a lot of potential in the team and helped them to create the game.
