Chaps,

I have been to this for a number of years and it is a very good venue in the heart of Cognac country. (normally it clashes with Usk but its moved a few weeks into Feb)

Everyone is very friendly and the format is very good with a lazy start on Saturday and an evening Buffet of Food and drink in the same venue.

There are a small pool of FoGr players in France. Last year I think 6 at Chaniers. However if we got a contigent from the UK sorted it may draw more.

I have a house not too far from the event so I could put some players up and maybe make a long weekend of it.

If interested drop me a note and we ill see if we can put a plan together that works.

cheers
Jim

An interesting spread. Three continents and almost two centuries.

Can't wait to see how the Millers cope with Mongols...

See you lucky people on Saturday.

Many thanks to Denis and company for an excellent competition and for their extraordinary hospitality!

Also for not slapping an Englishman whose army name was surprisingly similar to a well known French idiom

Dave

PS Also thanks to Jim for providing transport, accommodation and a convivial atmosphere...
